A CENTER FOR CREATIVITY AND COMMUNITY
In 2009, Pillsbury House Neighborhood Center and Pillsbury House Theatre began a journey to integrate the arts into all aspects of the 106 year old social service center, culminating in a new model of Settlement House: Pillsbury House + Theatre, a center for creativity and community.
Pillsbury House Theatre is a 20 year old, critically-acclaimed, professional theatre that produces high quality arts programming for the urban neighborhood. Programs include three mainstage productions each year, the touring Breaking Ice performance company, the Late Nite Series, Naked Stages, Chicago Avenue Project, Power of Our Voices, and school residencies.
