FBI Leadership Award
Pillsbury United Communities is honored to be recognized by the FBI as the recipient of the Director’s Community Leadership Award in Minneapolis.
On December 12th, FBI Minneapolis Special Agent in Charge, Richard T. Thornton, announced that Pillsbury United Communities would be the recipient of the 2014 Director’s Community Leadership award. The award is given annually to individuals and groups for their positive work in communities and crime prevention. Pillsbury United Communities President & CEO, Chanda Smith Baker, accepted the award at our Executive Offices on December 15th.
We are honored to be recognized by the FBI for our “commitment to providing services and opportunities to Minneapolis residents,” and we look forward to continuing to work to improve safety and increase choice, change and connection in Minneapolis’ underserved and underestimated communities.
