Pillsbury United Communities offers numerous Emergency Resources because sometimes people need to find stability with basic needs before they find the strength they need to make their own lives better.

We offer the one-of-a-kind Crisis Nursery for overwhelmed parents, food and clothing support, support for immigrant women, and a bridge program for furniture and home essentials.

Program & Services

Crisis Nursery

We help families in crisis find stability for themselves and their children, including arranging free short term childcare placement for youth 6 weeks to 12 years of age. For more information, call 612-302-3500.

Food Pantry

Pillsbury United Communities maintains food shelves providing culturally appropriate and nutritious food to individuals and families who have difficulty meeting their food needs.

Community Cafe

Free healthy, tasty, and nutritious meals prepared by Award-winning Chef Austin Bartold at Brian Coyle Center. Open to all, 11:00 am-12:30 pm, Monday-Friday.

Commodity Supplemental Food Program

Produce Giveaway

Pre-bagged fruits, vegetables, and bakeries are distributed at Brian Coyle Center and Waite House. Open to everyone (not limited to food shelf customers).

New and gently used clothing is available for adults seeking and sustaining employment at Camden Neighborhood Center.
