Business Ventures that respond to the changing world with innovation are part of the strategies at Pillsbury United Communities that have kept us effective in our communities for almost 135 years.
In the 21st Century, we are set apart from other human service agencies, in part, by our embrace of business ventures that are social enterprises. Youth embrace the values of self-sufficiency and entrepreneurship taught through designing their own business plans for a coffee cart or a thrift shop while the Pillsbury Interpreting Agency fills a need in that may not be filled any other way.
Programs like Pillsbury House Theatre and its Breaking Ice ensemble inspire people from all walks of life to see their relationships differently while Full Cycle Used Bike Shop helps homeless teens find places to stay and employment skills. All while providing much need revenue for the agency as a whole.
Business Ventures are another way that Pillsbury United Communities helps drive change into the future.
