Full Cycle in New York
Full Cycle is presenting at Youth Bike Summit, a three day national conference geared toward youth, bicycles, education, and advocacy.
Full Cycle, one of Pillsbury United Communities’ business ventures, is a non-profit bike shop in Minneapolis that uses several integrated strategies including bicycles to help connect homeless and at-risk young people to essential resources. Borne out of street outreach and social services, Full Cycle helps stabilize young adults living on their own by providing access to employment, transportation, food and other essential resources.
The Youth Bike Summit is an annual three-day national conference bringing together educators, advocates, activists, students, teenagers, practitioners, researchers, policy makers, and community leaders to engage around youth, bicycles, education, and advocacy. They bring people together from different disciplines and backgrounds to network, learn, and explore how the bicycle is a catalyst for positive social change.
Come hear and discuss what success looks like at Full Cycle and how to engage and support youth struggling with housing in your community at the 2014 Youth Bike Summit, February 14th – 16th, in New York City.
