Position: Volunteer Loan Committee Member

Frequency: 2nd & 4th Wednesday of each month from 4-5PM
Job Location: Oak Park Center, 1701 Oak Park Avenue North, Minneapolis, MN 55411
The Loan Committee reviews and approves loans to community members for car purchase or car repair.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Carefully review credit requests presented by Loan Coordinator
- Make informed decisions based on need and eligibility
- Approve or deny credit requests
- Sign and complete committee decision form
- Commit to meeting at least 1 hour twice a month every other Wednesday
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Financial and/or budgeting background
- Ability to understand and interpret credit reports
- Experience working with Non-Profits and community programs
- A least a one year commitment to the committee
