Ways to Work: Eligibility Requirements

You must be 18 or over
You must have a valid MN Drivers License
You must have a dependent child in the home
Employed at least 6 months and working at least 20 hours a week
Must demonstrate the ability/willingness to repay the loan as determined by various components in the application process.
Have not filed chapter 7 or 13 within the past 2 years

Persons seeking a Ways to Work loan must agree to complete a loan application, meet with a financial counselor, and attend Financial Literacy classes in order to be considered for a vehicle loan.
All approved applicants must be able to provide proof of “full coverage insurance” prior to loan closing.
All vehicle purchases must pass a comprehensive vehicle safety inspection prior to purchase.
