Position: Volunteer Loan Committee Member

Frequency: 2nd & 4th Wednesday of each month from 4-5PM

Job Location: Oak Park Center, 1701 Oak Park Avenue North, Minneapolis, MN 55411  



The Loan Committee reviews and approves loans to community members for car purchase or car repair. 



RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Carefully review credit requests presented by Loan Coordinator
  • Make informed decisions based on need and eligibility
  • Approve or deny credit requests
  • Sign and complete committee decision form
  • Commit to meeting at least 1 hour twice a month every other Wednesday

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Financial and/or budgeting background
  • Ability to understand and interpret credit reports
  • Experience working with Non-Profits and community programs
  • A least a one year commitment to the committee
