Tsega Tamene is committed to health equity and communities most impacted by health disparities. As the Director of Community Health, Ms. Tamene leads strategic program development, implementation, and evaluation in order to amplify the needs and priorities of communities toward systems change. In this role, she focuses on learning and creating with communities. Ms. Tamene is passionate about community leadership, intersectionality, and self-study. As a public health researcher and advocate, she has previously worked with the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Suffolk County Jail. Ms Tamene graduated from Harvard University with a degree in history, global health policy, and premedicine.
